My name is Quinta, I’m 26 years old. I met Tobi in 2022. He knew from day one that I had twin daughters from a previous relationship. I told him the truth: their father rejected me when I was pregnant. He left us.
At the time, my daughters were living with my late mom in the village while I worked as a nurse in the city. Tobi didn’t want anything to do with my kids, and I respected his boundary.
We dated for 8 months, and I got pregnant. Then my mother died. I had to bring my daughters back to the city.
That’s when everything changed.
He started calling me names, said I was using his “sweat” to feed another man’s children. He even told me to send my daughters back to their father, but the man had abandoned us and remarried. I stood my ground.
After I gave birth to his child, things got worse. He left me, saying he couldn’t accept being in a house with kids that weren’t his. He wanted to take our daughter, but I refused because I knew his intention wasn’t pure.
